Sneed Insurance, an Independent Insurance Agency since 1957 is one of the largest national providers of auto insurance with A rated or better carriers. In November, 1957 George W. Sneed, Jr. founded Sneed Insurance in Memphis, Tennessee. In just a few years with a steady increase in premium volume and the acquisition of several other insurance agencies Sneed Insurance was quickly well established in the Midsouth. In the late 60’s Sneed got into the classic car insurance business.Sneed Insurance became the Exclusive Insurance Administrator for the National Street Rod Association. From here Sneed began insuring not only street rods but also classic cars and classic trucks in all 50 states. Depending on the year Sneed can cover all types of collector cars to include American made classic cars to exotic import cars. Sneed Insurance offers their classic car insurance on the collector Miata and all year model Corvettes as well as many other classic vehicles and antique cars. Another classic car venue that is expanding daily is the Muscle car arena. Muscle car “cruising” such classic cars as the Mustang, the Chevelle and the Hemi Cuda is becoming one of America’s favorite pastimes. Sneed Classic Car Insurance is for the individual who treats their collector car like their 1st born. Sneed Classic Car Insurance is not for the “old car in the back yard”.
